Johannes Traut advises our clients on individual and collective employment law. His main practice areas include assisting our clients with restructuring, collective bargaining and works constitution law issues as well as transformation projects. As co-head of seitz.digital, in these projects he also advises our clients on data protection law.
Johannes Traut supports board members, top executives as well as shareholders and supervisory board members in establishing and terminating board memberships and defending claims. Together with our clients, he designs corporate structures and corporate co-determination.
Johannes Traut has been included in various lawyer rankings and business magazines (Juve, Legal 500, Chambers and Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers). He is the author of various professional publications and a regular lecturer at conferences on employment and data protection law.
He studied at the University of Bonn, where he was a research assistant at the Institute for Employment Law and Social Security Law. His doctoral thesis dealt with „The Corporate Governance of Public Corporations“. After working in Brussels and Munich, he was a lawyer at a major international law firm from 2014 to 2017.
