As one of Germany's leading commercial law firms, we have not only an entrepreneurial, but also a social responsibility and a responsibility towards society. Thinking economically. Acting in partnership (and responsibly): this is how we see ourselves – internally and externally.
"CSR" or "ESG"? We have chosen "Our Responsibility". And we want to live up to this responsibility with concrete projects and plans in the areas of sustainability, diversity and social issues.
In addition to increasing environmental awareness in our daily work at the law firm and supporting e-mobility through charging stations, JobTicket and JobRad, we have been working with Cologne-based company Planted since 2023.
With an individualized software solution, Planted will support us holistically in the implementation of individual sustainability goals. Starting with the calculation and analysis of our carbon footprint to active CO2 reduction together with the employees, offsetting unavoidable emissions and sustainability communication. In addition, Planted plants climate-stable mixed forests in Germany for its partners with its own climate forester, thus protecting the local forest.
We are at the beginning of this process and want to successively expand our contribution to more sustainability.
"The forest is a real climate hero, because here in Germany alone it stores around 62 million tons of CO2 per year. As a natural CO2 store, it thus makes an important contribution to combating the climate crisis."
Diversity is multifaceted. And we want more of it.
Seitz is a signatory of the Diversity Charter. We stand for diversity in all dimensions, especially diversity of generations, of social and ethnic origins, religions, genders and gender identities, sexual orientations, physical and mental abilities and different life plans.
For us, diversity is much more than a signature. For us, diversity is a question of attitude. We can only be successful economically and as a society if we jointly understand the existing diversity as a value, promote it internally and externally and adopt and exemplify it as a basic attitude. That is why we live diversity every day and in everything we do.
No matter how diverse we are, there is never enough diversity. We at Seitz are team players. And our team is strong because it is diverse. And yet: We want more of it, because more diversity makes us even stronger as a team.
