Maximilian Schmidt advises international and national companies in all industries on individual and collective employment law. One focus of his work is on complex restructuring and transformation projects, in which he supports our clients from the negotiation strategy through project management to legal representation. In addition, Maximilian Schmidt specializes, in particular, in issues of collective bargaining and works constitution law as well as co-determined supervisory boards.
His areas of expertise also include sports law and advising high-profile personalities in sports and society.
Maximilian Schmidt is listed as a Rising Star of employment law by Legal500 and „One to Watch“ by Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers. He regularly publishes in labor law journals.
After his studies at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and a stay abroad in New York, Maximilian Schmidt received his doctorate under supervision from Prof. Dr. Gregor Thüsing with a dissertation that was awarded, among others, the Telekom Award of the University of Bonn.
