Marc Werner advises international and national companies on collective and individual employment law. His main focus is on large-scale employment law projects for the restructuring and transformation of companies as well as the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements on the employer side. Another focus of his work is on supporting our clients in employment law projects in terms of strategy and communication.
In addition, Marc Werner specializes in corporate co-determination law and company pension schemes and heads our Pensions practice group.
He is recommended in the trade press such as Juve, Legal 500 and Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers and was named a top lawyer for employment law by WirtschaftsWoche.
He is co-author of the book „Betriebsvereinbarungen“ (Company Agreements) published by C. H. Beck Verlag and of the „Handbuch zum Tarifrecht“ (Handbook on Collective Bargaining Law) published by Otto-Schmidt Verlag; he is also a regular lecturer on specialized employment law topics.
Marc Werner studied at the University of Cologne, where he received his doctorate with the dissertation „Die deutsche Unternehmensmitbestimmung in internationalen europäischen Konzernen“ (German entrepreneurial co-determination in international European company groups).
