Dr. Johannes Oehlschläger advises national and international companies across all industries on all matters relating to individual and collective labor law and represents them in particular before labor courts.

One focus of his work is on large restructuring and transformation projects and the associated drafting and negotiation of contracts and works council agreements (in particular, reconciliation of interests and social plans). In addition, Dr. Johannes Oehlschläger has extensive experience in the field of international labor law and labor migration law.

Dr. Johannes Oehlschläger is the author of over 80 publications in the field of labor law. He works with the largest legal publishers and, in addition to his legal treatises, also discusses the case law of the highest German courts. Furthermore, Dr. Johannes Oehlschläger is also active as a speaker. He regularly gives presentations at specialist events and as part of specialist lawyer training sessions.

In 2025, Dr. Johannes Oehlschläger was named “Ones to Watch” in the field of labor law for the third time in a row by “Best Lawyers” and Handelsblatt – an honor for young lawyers who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievements in their still young careers.
