Heinz Hofer is a certified public accountant, tax advisor and specialist consultant for international tax law, as well as a publicly appointed and sworn expert for company valuations by the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Heinz Hofer is also managing director of HKS GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Steuerberatungsgesellschaft.

His main areas of practice include corporate tax law, international tax law, tax advice on severance and early retirement schemes, business valuations and auditing.

Heinz Hofer studied business administration at the University of Cologne. In 2007, he received his doctorate from the University of Cologne on the topic of „Corporate Governance and Company Valuation“.

Before joining Seitz, Heinz Hofer worked for many years at a business law firm for tax-centered legal advice in Bonn and at a Big Four auditing firm in Düsseldorf.
