Stefan Glasmacher’s practice focuses on M&A, venture capital/start-ups, private equity and general corporate law. He advises our clients on international and national corporate transactions, financing rounds and loan agreements. As a former referee of the German Football Association (DFB), sports law is also one of his areas of expertise.
He is involved in legal education as a lecturer (e.g. RWTH Aachen and University of Cologne) and is the author of numerous articles on corporate and foreign trade law. He has received several awards, among others from Handelsblatt & Best Lawyers.
Before joining Seitz, Stefan Glasmacher was a lawyer at an international law firm in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt a.M. and Chicago (USA). He studied and obtained his doctorate at the University of Bonn, in each case with a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. He completed his practical legal training in Cologne, Lima (Peru) and Washington, D.C. (USA).
