Philipp J. Barring advises on all aspects of corporate law (partnerships and corporations, including listed stock corporations). He also focuses on directors‘ and officers‘ liability issues (preventive and reactionary) as well as related litigation, corporate governance and the establishment and implementation of complex compliance management systems in companies.

Philipp J. Barring regularly holds lectures for clients on various topics relating to directors‘ and officers‘ liability, dutiful conduct in accordance with the Business Judgement Rule and compliance-relevant topics (including the German Money Laundering Act) and publishes on these topics.

Philipp J. Barring studied at the University of Passau and is currently studying for his Master’s degree (LL.M.) at the University of London (UK) on topics such as corporate governance and compliance. Before joining Seitz, he worked for several medium-sized commercial law firms in Munich.
