Lydia Baumann works as an attorney in the tax department at Seitz.
She advises and represents national and international companies and private individuals on all legal issues relating to tax law as well as on selected civil and corporate law matters. Her work includes providing advice during tax audits and in proceedings both in and out of court. Another focus of her work is advising wealthy private individuals, company owners and family-run companies on all aspects of wealth and corporate succession, with a special focus on relocation matters.
Lydia Baumann studied at the North Rhine-Westphalia College of Finance (Fachhochschule für Finanzen, FH) in Nordkirchen and graduated in tax administration (Dipl.-Finanzwirtin). She went on to study law at the University of Cologne, focusing on tax and corporate law, and worked for several years as a research assistant in a medium-sized commercial law firm specializing in tax law. Her legal internship included periods working at the Cologne Finance Court and at a renowned commercial law firm.
