Laura Gehrke works as an attorney and tax advisor in the tax department at Seitz.
She advises companies as well as high net worth individuals and families in matters of national and international tax law. In addition to advising on corporate transactions as well as restructurings, one of the main focuses of her work is providing ongoing tax advice to companies in the medical sector. Laura Gehrke also has extensive experience in assisting clients in contentious proceedings before the tax courts. She also focuses on defending clients in criminal tax cases and advising them on tax liability law.
She studied at the University of Cologne. Prior to that, she completed a dual training program to become a certified financial economist (Diplom Finanzwirtin, FH) at the Hochschule für Finanzen NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia College of Finance) in Nordkirchen and worked in the tax authorities for several years in various fields of assignment. In 2022, Laura Gehrke also passed the tax advisor exam.
