Astrid Oleszak advises international and national companies on collective and individual employment law. One focus of her work is advising our clients in their cooperation with works council committees, in restructuring projects and in drafting contracts in day-to-day business. In doing so, developing solutions that are both legally secure and pragmatic, through holistic advice to our clients, is most important to her. Astrid Oleszak has particular expertise in advising on and negotiating issues of works constitution law in international matrix structures. She also accompanies our clients‘ projects in disputes concerning the risks associated with bogus self-employment or covert employee leasing.
Astrid Oleszak studied at the University of Cologne and worked as a research assistant at the Institute for German and European Labor and Social Law (IDEAS; chair under Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Ulrich Preis) at the University of Cologne. Her dissertation deals with the employee status of the Red Cross nurse in relation to her sisterhood.
